Welsh Wednesdays
For homeschoolers aged 5 to 12
Our new Wednesday sessions* offer a holistic approach to learning and developing Welsh language skills. Designed for both beginners and confident speakers, these sessions combine active, engaging learning with opportunities to explore Welsh culture and traditions—supporting language development in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
On Wednesday mornings, learners are grouped by their Welsh language ability to ensure focused, supportive learning. Beginners build confidence in speaking and listening, then move on to reading and writing. More fluent speakers are challenged through engaging activities that deepen language skills and cultural understanding.
In the afternoons, students take part in hands-on projects linked to real-world themes. These sessions promote creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, while helping students develop practical skills and explore meaningful topics in a supportive setting.
